Consumable inventory is used or sold and is removed from your inventory.
Consumable inventory might also include the tracking of lots and/or expiration dates.
Assets or equipment are typically used/deployed and returned.
Assets or equipment are typically inventory items that are uniquely identified within asset/property tag.
IntelliTrack inventory solutions support managing a perpetual inventory through the receipt of new inventory and the issuance of existing inventory.
Is your consumable inventory being received (into inventory) and issued (out of inventory).
IntelliTrack inventory solutions support assets or equipment in a fixed location and assets or equipment that moves constantly. An example of assets in a fixed location might be office equipment. An example of assets or equipment that moves constantly might be tools there used at multiple job sites.
Do your unique assets or equipment remain in the same location for a long period of time?
IntelliTrack inventory solutions support the validation against predefined orders for inventory received (into inventory) and issued (out of inventory)? These predefined orders are often called purchase orders or sales orders. Having predefined orders significantly increases your inventory accuracy.
