System Requirements Design Study (SRDS)

To ensure your IntelliTrack products and services deliver the correct solution for your organization, we conduct a System Requirements and Design Study (SRDS). For complex systems, IntelliTrack often requires an onsite analysis so that our Software Services Group fully understands the challenges faced.

System Consultants provide documentation for all known requirements and recommendations throughout the analysis. You will receive a detailed explanation of the solutions we can provide along with a report on cost.  

Why We Do a System Requirements and Design Study (SRDS)

System Requirements and Design Studies (SRDS) ensure successful delivery and implementation of your Inventory Control System. Many times the implementation of a complex system involves some combination of integration, modification, training, and installation services. During the SRDS, our System Consultants work closely with personnel throughout your operation to determine your specific needs.

The SRDS identifies the critical aspects of your project, defines and documents your requirements, determines how the software will overlay your business processes, and establishes critical timelines and deliverables. We can assist you with:

  • Choosing a suitable portable data collection terminal.
  • Tailoring training to the way you will use the proposed system.

The SRDS is a system blueprint that guides the implementation process later on.  Just as you need a plan to build a house, you need a plan to implement a software system of sizeable scale.
