Generic Version for Batch

IntelliTrack has a "generic" version of our batch portable applications that supports the use of our software on many devices, including those without built-in scanners. You can enable scanning support in the generic version through the use of the manufacturer's wedge scanning software. To enable the use of a wedge scanner, ensure that the wedge scanner software is configured to append a carriage return onto the end of each scan. For more information about configuring the wedge scanner on your mobile device, please refer the device user manual.

Telnet Support for RF

To run IntelliTrack RF applications or applications developed using the IntelliTrack RF SDK, your device must have a line-mode capable Telnet client, such as Wavelink. See the IntelliTrack RF Terminal Emulation Guide for suggested telnet options. If you are unsure whether or not your telnet emulator supports line mode, please ask your hardware reseller. A VT keypad is highly recommended for a wireless portable terminal.

Support for DOS based portables

DOS based portables are not supported by IntelliTrack products version 7.0 or higher. If you are looking to upgrade to version 8.0 of our applications, you will need to replace your DOS based portables.
