System Consultant

Location: Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Duties and Responsibilities:

IntelliTrack, Inc. is a manufacturer of barcode-based, data collection and mobile productivity software applications for business customers. Our solutions integrate mobile data collection terminals running Windows CE, Pocket PC, and Palm OS to create both batch and real-time data management and tracking applications. Our product line includes IntelliTrack WMS (warehouse management system) as well as modules for fixed assets, stockroom, check in-out, and physical inventory. Based in Hunt Valley, Maryland, IntelliTrack sells its products throughout North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. More than 12,000 copies of IntelliTrack have been sold worldwide.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Pre-sales support
    • Participation in demonstration of software
    • Demonstration of software, including analyses to support customer specific demonstrations of software
    • Investigation of integration possibilities
    • Technical support of quoting process.
  • Analysis
    • On site and phone based requirements analysis
    • Creation of requirement documents
    • Creation of project schedules/Updating project schedules
  • Project Management/Client Installation
    • Participate in conference calls
    • Manage execution of "key" projects
    • Interact with customer and software services to keep all parties updated
    • Track open items list during project execution
    • Onsite software installation
    • Onsite end user training
    • Coordinate out of scope requests between sales representatives and customer
  • Liaison between Sales and Software Services
    • Provide Sales and Software Services with update on status and key milestones
    • Negotiate between Sales, Customer and Software Service scheduling and deliverables

Requirements:

The System Consultant will have direct contact with IntelliTrack's customer and their end users. With that said, the candidate must have strong communication and presentation skills along with the ultimate desire to assist the customer to achieve a solution that meets their goals.

  • Four year college degree plus 1-2 years experience in related field
  • Customer service focus with good interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Good organizational skills. Must be able to juggle multiple assignments
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Must be willing to travel 35% of time
